Which MBTI Type Would Be Best For President?

MBTI Type as president
Barrack Obama, ENFJ MBTI Type

The most natural MBTI type for President would be an ENTJ.

As the POTUS, you are required to make life and death decisions everyday. You will not have all the facts and you will not have the answers given to you. You must be a sound decision maker, capable of following your gut and leading others into seeing/implementing your vision.

The ENTJ is naturally fit to run as the head of large organizations, as they have incredible rallying power and a good big-vision view of what is necessary to be completed as well as the natural inclination to get it done.

FDR ENTJ

Franklin Delano Roosevelt, one of the most renowned U.S. presidents in history who was elected 3 times, led the U.S. out of the Great Depression and made the U.S. a world power by the end of World War II, was actually an ENTJ.

Now, if a person is good enough to become elected as the president of the US, their leadership skills will likely be extremely good and they would bring their own unique strengths to the presidential position in a way that other types would not. Hillary as an INTJ, would likely have a very cautious approach to the way she runs the country compared to Trump, who as an ESTP, would likely have a “just do it” attitude that could have its own advantages.

However, in terms of being able to complete objectives associated with the formal responsibilities of the job, my bet would be with the ENTJ personality type. ENTJs would be the best MBTI type for president.
